i think its lame how they can't repair a very light 2 inch scratch/paint chip.... i don't know if they're trying to upsell or if its legit but im not paying $175 per rim for such a small curb mark.

i would feel better if i go curb the crap out them first, at least then i will feel im getting my money worth.... not going too just ranting.

I have a 19" G37 rim that needs repairing.. typical curbage, some scratches along the face as well.

Greens quoted me 175 + 100 because it requires a 'special silver paint'.
nu-brite quoted me 250.

These sound rather high compared to the other quotes i've seen flying around this thread.. what the heck is a special silver paint? are they trying to pull one on me?

I dont think they have an email. Just phone them at 604-888-3630 and ask them for a quote I guess? I've been researching this as well and most ppl said like 100-150-ish a rim but when I phoned they quoted me like 200+ for 1 JDM 16 and I was a bit choked. Let me know how much its costing you.

Alloy Wheel Repair is a good one. They are doing a special on FocusBC.net for group repairs. normally 125-150 dollars per rim....their special is 100$ per rim with groups of 8 or more rims. The guys are really nice so give em a call if a group is made up.

This is the ad from FocusBC

I work for ALLOY WHEEL REPAIR. We specialize in rim repair and repaint. For example: Curb/paint damage. Complete factory repaint or custom color repaint. Special rates would apply if your wheel is bent or needs welding. CHROME wheels will not be fixed or painted.
We have a special going on for FocusBC.
We just need a group of 8 wheels or more that need work done.

Our rates start at 125-150$ per wheel.

GROUP rate for FocusBC is 100$ per wheel. Thats 200$ or 100$ savings if u need all 4 done.

Anyone interested in what kind of work we do....call me and I'll show you my rims as an example.
We deal with a lot of high end dealerships around BC and the island so our work is the best compared to anyone else.

I want to see if we could get a group going, I talked to a few of you on the board who wanted repaint/repair so heres your chance.

Im actually doing a group of cars from Revscene this upcoming weekend so if anyone wants theirs done ASAP tomorrow April 18th is the day.

Call Alex at 604-7284603 for an appointment.

Single cars will be paying regular rates.

You guys set up a list and a date...make it a saturday or sunday plz.

all should still be in business.

ive delt with all 3 companies, and all do a good job.

all start at the $125 level. this covers the materials and mainly the labour involved in fixing ur rims.

dependant on damage, price goes up.

Sorry, people who actually refinish their wheels usually aren't using Rotas its the works, weds, etc.
