can anyone enlighten me why drifters take off the front bumpers? so they dont get hit?

but wouldn't it be cheaper for a bumper to take the hit rather than a mega-dollar intercooler hanging out to get whacked by the barrier? :confused:

if your talking about the green 86, his bumper was scraping really bad the first 2 runs or so.

some nice drift pictures! I got kinda tired of shooting drifting because all of the pics start to look the same after panning for a whole day, but these are nice! :)

from what I'm told some scrape when drifting, and others are actually quite rare/expensive when compared to the intercooler. it might increase airflow too.

Looks like they drive. You need a smaller more inferior car if you use that line imo and you need that inferior car in the same frame. Your slogan, tagline should compliment/add to the photo, not detract from it. Here it's not doing anything really other than standing out like a sore thumb, hence mana's comment. It would look better w/o it. Otherwise ok shot.
