Heh, thanks for the vouch, Big D. I'll have my portfolio online soon with my "pro" shots. All of the stuff I usually post online are just candid snapshots.
Granted, I don't do a lot of automobile photography, I'm more about concert, portraiture, and I do weddings on the side.

alot of it has to do with the camera too
$500 point and shoot VS $2000+lenses semi-pro dSLR
i dont care who you are, a shitty photographer with a good camera can take more professional 'looking' pictures than a good photographer with a bad camera. the pro might have better composition and setup his pictures better, but the limitations of the camera will hold back the final result in large part, among other things, due to the lack of depth of field control on a point and shoot.
these pictures were taken very similarly. one with a compact camera, one with a dslr.

truthfully i dont take this very seriously, i just dont have the time to get out shooting every day. im lucky to use my camera seriously (meaning 100+ shots at a time) twice a month. otherwise all the stuff i post is just random snapshots taken after smoking a fatty.
i do love it tho, probably more than the whole car thing right now..

Jen i'd love to see some of your work, post more in here!!
portraiture is something im trying to practice but i find it rather difficult to be creative with. plus it isnt easy finding willing models and such...

wow thanks guys.. i knew they'd look good but i had no clue i'd get that kind of response! I am going to do a little suspension work so i can bring the car down a little lower yet, with a 5 mm spacer in behind it is going to look pretty damn good.

Take a pic from further away so we can see the total effect. Looking good though.

craig some 5mm spacers would be perfect with camber
i was running 38 offset on my teg and it was perfect. tho unless you're running some good camber in the rear, you wont tuck the fender and you will rub.

Here are a couple overall shots some of you were asking for.
Mike, by this shot you can tell it NEEDS spacers! I don't plan on running much camber in the rear as i do like throttle lift oversteer. |
