super nice shots geoff, where was the first one taken? is it a nice road to get up there?

also, i decided not to get a new camera, the nice ones are so expensive! i'll live with my full-auto one for now..

your pictures from the rally turned out sooo much better than mine. mind u i only have 2x zoom.
That orange car doesnt look so good anymore. Thats the one that didn't show up at the end in the final stage. He was like 30 feet down a bank apparently. And he had a flat on friday night on stage, and changed it right in front of the spectator area at Comstock. Crappy weekend for him indeed.

I could use some pictures of the DSM actually, we'd like to have something to post on their web site. If you wouldn't mind some of your being used, we might post them. I won't go just using them though, don't worry about that.
Ya, I took about 150 pics and thats all the ones that I really like. The rest need major cropping due to the lack of zoom.
The only car I saw take the corner with the barriers at AMR good was the Tiburon. Everyone braked way to hard and was gunning it half way through the corner. Notice how tight the civic was, he's like on the inside ditch. Did they make corrections on the second pass through? We jumped a fence and moved to the end of the straight at AMR where they were filming.

haha thanks...no, I just used a 300mm lens and went to the very edge of the spectator area....and kinda stretched the yellow tape as far as I could and leaned out | |

TDC: thankfully there was enough time between cars to go back to safety  although I did get hit by a good number of rocks...thankfully nothing damaged the camera
