WoW performance-related question:

just wondering what you're all getting for FPS?

My specs:
Intel CoreDuo 1.83ghz
2gig 667 ddr2 memory
5400rpm HDD
GeForce Go 7600 w/512mb

My average fps is 59.9 but on occasion, the game
'stutters' for a split second bringing fps down to about
40ish and then right back up to 59.9.. kind of annoying.

When you use a credit card to make an account for WoW can you remove the credit card information after or does it have to stay? i plan using my moms credit card just for the free month and then switching to a game card since i am short of cash at the moment.

you can switch to alternative payments of course. but you have to make sure to cancel the reoccuring charges on the credit card

its easy, you just log in and click on "cancel subscription" and it will cancel the next reoccuring charge and let you finish off your current month.

then if you wanna use game cards u just enter the game card number next time.

umm yes. i think. but the thing is even during subscription you cannot see the credit card info. so if someone hacked your account they cant see any of your credit card info. every time you want to enter it in, you have to reenter everything. its not like paypal where u just click click and its done.

techincally i could give u my password and the most you could do is go into the game and fuck my characters up and delete everything. but credit card info and all that would be safe.

heh my character is more important than credit card info. i could just call visa and they'd take care of everything. blizzard has a bad rep of not restoring your character even if it was hacked :p
