LOL I quit for 2 years and came back in October. Right back to being a raid leader but not quite as hardcore as before.

We started on Hard Modes yesterday. I was a bit scared of 4 towers so we did 3 but 3 without Freya was so easy we're definitely doing 4 next week. Did Heartbreaker too and trying Hodir on Sunday.

I just switch profession 2 days ago. Resto is my main spec with naxx25 and 10 uldar gear. Also comes with a DK duel spec Unholy dps and Frost tank.

I'm thinking of getting back into WoW and I'm not sure what class to roll. I'm not too sure I want to keep playing my mage. I feel like either rolling a Druid or a Paladin.

They both can tank, dps, and heal. I haven't really done any research toward the classes but I'm leaning more towards a paladin. I'll also want them to do both PVE and PVP and not just focus on one of them. Any reasons why I should pick a druid over a paladin?

Tank: Even, Druid has mass hit points and avoidance, Paladin is the best AOE tank
Healing: Druid > Paladin, Paladin healers are pretty basic healers using 3 core spells with no aoe heal, Druid is much more versatile in this department
DPS: Druid > Paladin, Ret paladins shine on aoe fights but on single target... not so much.

PVP: Paladin > Druid, Ret paladins are considered over powered in this department currently...

Healing: depends on situation really, some fights it requires single target tank healing, than pally is the best job for that and DPS.. pretty much even imo.. but pally would need better gear to actually pull off some decent numbers

PVP wise.. i'd say druid... you possibly cant kill a druid 1 on 1.. its too hard.. and will make it harder in the next patch since ret is getting a small nerf :(

umm single target wise both are pretty equal. if anything pallies have more avoidance than druids.
healing is also debatable. holy pallies bring ALOT to a raid. resto druids can basically do it except provide an outside cooldown.
geared ret pallies can do AMAZING single target DPS. my buddy plays a ret pally, he can do something like 7-8k DPS.
feral druids are broken as ever, so cat dips a good choice too.
moonkin dps is alright. too much RNG involved

pvp wise, it depends what you wanna do. both are awesome for pvp. any spec. except moonkin, moonkin pvp is a joke

I wold chose a pally over druid. I have a druid myself. Is nice u can change forms and all that. But it gets old fast. I mean when u get new gear u won't see it (well coz u will either be a chicken, cat bear or a tree everytme u raid) so really it gets boring.
