Planning to go back after quitting for 4 years... used to be rank 9 in vanilla.
What servers do you guys play on now and how fast can I get to 85 cap assuming I am starting a new character? (forgot my login and password before the merge...)

fuuuuuuuuuu blizzard and your one year promo- get d3 free you sucked me back innnnnnnn.......and LFR what a joke, went in as heals for the deathwing raidsafter a day of gearing up in the new dungeons (even after a 5mth break!) it takes no brains at all, just heal shit and dont stand in shit on the ground or avoid shit coming at you....... HICC was harder...hell normall ICC was harder, its like Naxx all over again, gear up in dungeons and your full clearing shit....they transitioned the fights to all dps and tanks have to do the work what work there is that is. jump to the island down tentacles tank big add back on boss, its all frikken order of kill now instead of how to kill. /endrant

best way to lvl to 85 imo is grind/quest to 45 and do random bg til 80and quest again if u have no heirloom. convert all honor point til u cap out justice points and cap out honor again as sokn as uhit 85 u can buy epics lol

^^ or get your lvl 85 to farm JC points for BoA and if your guild level is high enough u can also get BoA with your guild too.
It also helps if your class can heal or tank then you can do dungeons quicker. I would said start doing dungones around 60lish since BC and Warth dungeons is pretty short.

I quit this game about 8 months ago. Been itching to take the 7 day free offer that blizz keeps emailing me.
I was doing progression raiding with decently ranked guilds, but I feel like just playing casual / pvp, cuz raiding 4+ days a week can really burn you out.

relapsed as well on burning legion, joined some of my old hardcore raiding crew from wrath on Burning Legion, we started 25s and downed madness on second try monday (pre reset nerf)pretty funtimes considering some of the raid weren't as geared as they coul dbe (carried) DS is doable in one raid night. ~3hours

Went from 1 to 85 in about a week. So easy to level and make gold. Relapsed back into a second tour of duty. Took a 4 year hiatus.
The game is completely different now. All the zones that were boring before are not so boring anymore.

Thinking about going back as well.. Want to get a few of my other characters to 85 and pvp or raid.
They brought back the year subscription which seems like a pretty good deal but not sure if i'd even play for a whole year. World of Warcraft Annual Pass FAQ - Support - Battle.net Support
If you've got a friend that's already playing get them to recruit you. 3x exp up until 80 now.. roll a tank or healer and just run instances all day long and you'll hit it in no time.
When it was 3x to 60, it took my friend and I a couple of days doing instanes and questing to hit 60.

I went back in with a 10 day trial, and got to level 3X. Rolled a druid this time. I should've done this a long time ago. This way, I get to do tanking, healing, range DPS, melee DPS all in one character instead of the 4-5 characters I created.. @_@
