Games were good for 2 rounds there! I had fun as a commander, and really got going in the second round 
My nick is lowlight btw (my original RS name too)
There are some ranked servers out there, but they are almost always full, and laggy as fuck. EA really messed up when it comes to the ranking system.

The only real laggy ranked servers out there are the Art of War Central ones (there's quite a bit of them..which is probably the reason for the lag), the other ones are just fine if you have a good ping.
Other reasons for lag is if the server has BattleRecorder on and there's people saving the info.

Need some help from you guys. I know nothing about computers but i tested the game, got hooked heh and got a free copy with my ea employee points.
I have a AMD 1.4 and i'm thinking about buying 2 sticks of 512 Samsung PC 2700 ram and a Sapphire 9600 pro. Will this work? b/c i dont play PC games and i dont want to buy a new system.
I tried installing with nvdia mx 400 and 256 ram but it wouldn't work.

dammit, yeah... thats what everyone is telling me. I dont use my comp for anything else but surf the web and word processing. Bought a stick of 512 and a 9800 pro. We'll see how it goes on the low settings, etc. If not... my copy will be for sale heh.

w00t... i'm able to play. Not the cleanest graphics in the world due to the low settings but i dont mind. Spent $280 though for the 9800 pro and for some 512... all for one game heh. Oh and i picked up a logitch dual action gamepad for $7.50. $29.99 at FS and they price matched Officedepot.ca.

people on the BF 2 forums are taking about getting "free" unlocks.... basically saying that they have already unlocked there lance corp. weapon but for some reason they have 2 or more unlocks when they should only have 1...
this happen to anyone here?

I'm a Lance Corporal and I have no unlocks. 
Actually, I don't know how you unlock it. I understand you get to pick the unlock of your choice? I tried going to the BFHQ page and I went crazy clicking everything on the screen.

I JUST read what you said about the extra unlocks, so being a Lance Corp. I went and logged in and ALL my weapons are unlocked! WTF?
All of them are unlocked in ranked and unranked servers. This is nuts, I hope EA doesn't ban me because they think I'm cheating or something.
When I got lance Corporal I logged out then logged back in and this screen came up with all the weapons and you have to choose one.
