Finally got my Dao. Now I can actually gun fight when I am anti tank.

I got my transport badge by sitting in a car idle in a really small ranked server. Some guy tried to arty me once heh.

the part where you put your name/password in the command line is a little fussy, i didn't get it the first time through. maybe you should try playing around with it more.

bf2 and special forces are for PC and modern combat is for the console.

Is anyone experiencing worse framerate after the recent patch?

I don't have SF yet and I just got a new video card. Deleted the cache so I could optimize it again, but I'm getting bad framerates on certain maps.

nope haven't experienced any decline in performance. what new card do you get? ATI? i'm glad i have an nvidia.

i heard bf2 runs laggy on ATI cards and i remember seeing some kind of fix for it on the bf2 forums. you increase your pci latency from 32 to 64.

did you type xxx in the log in window where it has prefix? the prefix i think is used to display clan tags.

I think it's a bug with the prefix. It took me a bit of playing around before I got rid of it. I'm not quite sure how, but I just kept changing the prefix and deleting it and eventually it went away.


I used to have ATI 9800 Pro 128 MB (256-Bit).

Now I have BFG 6600 GTOC 128 MB (128-Bit). I can't say performance greatly improved at all, even though my 3DMark05 shows that it went from 2600pt to 3400pt, and now with some OC, it's up to 3800pt. Though I think the fps are more stable. Still running at the same detail settings, with card settings on all high performance (No AA, AF).

No idea what's going on.

I'm really enjoying bf2 and special forces, running on a x850xt and it looks hot.

i had that problem too, but i have a asus 6800GT.

was flawless before 1.12, after load times and w/e went to shit. turn down the draw distance, if you do that it wil be sooooo much faster.,

just bought bf2 and exp. I know i need a new vid card but i was wondering whats the best deal?? so far ive heard of the 6600 gt, 9600 pro all-in-wonder and some others but those 2 seem to be the most popular

btw I went to a local shop and they quoted me 185 for the 6600 gt

get on SU-34 or eagle as 2nd gunner/cam missile guy
while in cam mode if I press '2' I see missile chaning
but doesn't look like it makes any difference

I had the 9800 Pro and now I have the 6600GT Over clocked version and the 6600GT OC is better.

bought this game since October but my computer wasn't up to spec so I just left it in my closet. Now I'm ready for some RS team whoring
