2.5L Turbo-diesel automatic 4x4
This is the most fuel efficient vehicle available capable of going offroad, towing a boat, carrying full sheets of plywood and being camped in!
Condition is really good, inside, out and underneath... and only 77,000km!
Already smashed the passenger side step... no more offroading at night, hehe.

damn there are some very sweet rigs on here...Marshal: your Sami looks wicked...
I just picked up my first ever 4x4...a 1997 Pontiac Sunrunner (aka Sidekick) with 143K kms. Not planning anything crazy for it now...sadly I have to keep it very fuel efficient (so far this year I've driven over 30,000 km). Bone stock for now...looking for a hard top then hopefully a 2 or 3" lift next year with some bigger tires (just picked up some generic 205/70/15s with some good tread for snow) gonna keep those on 'till they wear down then look at something more aggressive/bigger.
Oh yeah...thankfully it also has the 16v engine and the 5spd so it's actually a lot of fun to drive and holds up even on the Coq really well I'll post pics when I get home...and of course I'll post a LOT of snow pics this winter | | | | | 09-13-2007, 01:34 AM | #61 | | What hasn't Killed me, has made me more tolerant of RS!

			I'mmmmm back!
Last month I traded in the Mazda 3 for a US model 2006 Nissan Xterra Off-Road (complete with factory locking rear differential). It was in mint condition when I drove it off the lot. I say "was" because a week later I scratched the shit out of it on my annual ranch trip north of Lillooet. Two weeks ago I took it up to Hale Creek with a few other Xterras. Other than some minor damage to some mud flaps and a few more scratches, the Xterra performed well.
I'm glad to be riding at a proper height again. Next year I'm planning on coil spacers (or coilovers) and rear shackles (and/or add-a-leafs) for 2.5" to 3" of lift and 33" tires. This year I need to get a tow hitch (no rear tow point on the Xterras) and a set of rock sliders.

Well, just got inducted into the 4x4 club as well, with a spankin' new 08 Jeep Patriot (in "Inferno Red Crystal Pearl"). Went with the North Edition package, but the cheaper version without all the nice toys (sunroof, Sirius, bluetooth, nav, etc.). Damn budgets.
Edit: finally got a pic of it:
Got the 2.4L mill, CVT2 trans, 17" rims. Pretty nice ride... no idea when I'll actually be allowed to get it muddy, since it's really the wife's vehicle
