I'm in the middle of my spring upgrades, so here's a little shot of the old, plus the ingredients for the new.

Aiming to be done for the next VMSC auto-x, we'll see.

Great68's 1968 Mustang Coupe

I moved to the island in June of '07. In case you don't know me from the Vancouver forums, here's some pictures of my car. You may see me around.

Here's what my car looked like in 1999 when I first got it:

After about 3 years, stripping the car down, replacing a bunch of structural metal, floor pans, patching, putting in new carpets, upholstery, paint, motor work, suspension, etc, ... All the stuff that goes into a good restoration it looks like this:

Too many mods to list, and they won't be the last. Plans this year are to get rid of the crummy automatic and swap in a stick. Plans next year are to rebuilt the bottom end to a 331 stroker.

I live in Victoria, but I keep the car at my relatives' place in Cowichan Bay since they have a garage.

I bring it down to Victoria from time to time, but the rural roads out there are way more fun to drive.

Well I figured I may as well back up the previous Subaru and add mine to the list of pictures.

Here's mine, it started as a 2007 WRX wagon, now.. its caught somewhere in the middle of a complete '07 Spec STi swap. I now have some Brembo brakes awaiting install, and I'm trying to piece together the rest of the 6spd drivetrain.

Mods so far include:

-DIY black housing headlights
-MTEC 6500K HID's
-V7 front lip Click for instructions
-JDM aero mudguards F/R (J1010FE244, J1010FE351)
-Front 07 STi emblem (93013FE150)
-Rally Armor Mudflaps
-Saabaru roof rail delete (91046FE001, 91046FE011, 909130022 x3)
-35/25 tint all 7 windows
-JDM rain visors (E3610FE010)
-STi rear diffuser (91225FE000, 91285FE000, 52153FE120 x3)
-STi rear badge (93073FE800)
-SUBARU & WRX debadge on hatch
-Grimspeed hood dampers

-S204 dash kit
-JDM Hazard button (83037FE030)
-Omori 45mm boost gauge w/silver trim ring
-Custom factory deck cover
-DIY wrx shift boot w/STi ring install
-STi 5 spd black duracon shiftknob
-STi black floormats

-Tuning via Rocket Rally w/Opensource software
-STi intake manifold
-Prodrive BCS

-STi Pink Pink Lateral Links (ST2250055000)
-STi Pink Wagon Springs (B2010FE500 x2, B2010FE520 x2)
-STi Pink Rear Swaybar (B2010FE560)
-'06 Legacy Spec B 18" wheels (28111AG090 x4)
-Hawk HPS pads
-DBA 4000 slotted front and rear rotors

Ok, now on with a few photo's

some of the photo's are a little out of date, but you get the idea.

- Focal speakers, sub, amps

- Scosche, Connection Audison wires and interconnects
- Optima Yellow Top battery
+ a whole buttload of custom work!

- H&R Touring Cup Kit

I've put a ton of work into this car over the last two years, and it always kills me to write a mods list because 90% of my hard work doesn't show up on it . Every panel clip that breaks is replaced, every rock chip filled and polished. Thanks for looking!
