Where did you find the nicely painted blur background. I'm considering painting my place, and i'm thinking about red on one side :D

It's the color of my wall in London.

Did you ever see the color of my room in Vancouver?
It has the most amazing red color on one wall, and a soft faint yellow on the other. When the sunset hits the red, it lights up the room like fire.

Pick your red carefully though, cause sometimes it can look quite aweful and tasteless.

Edit: Thanks Jason. It's a British made cashmere 3-piece. Fits and feels so good I'm tempted to wear it every time I go grocery shopping. :p

taking self portraits are hard!

I like the first one, but I think it needs a little bit more detail in your face.

yeah alot of fopahs there. My room is so cramped. I was trying to move away from the curtain, but couldn't because i would hit a table or a couch... can't wait till i move out.

You just needed a little bit of bounce light...

You were using a 30D right? how were you setting off the shutter? manual focus and a delay? remote?

I was serioiusly short for room though. once I move some couches around ill be able to do then better.

i prefer the first because it is mysterious... Doesnt give you away completely but gives into your personality a bit (not that i know you.. but it seems more personal).

The other two are cool but the first of the two is very forward with you looking at the camera
and the 2nd of the two is awkward in pose. Though i like the cropping and the way you're looking away.

I also find that red backgrounds are never good for the skin tone. :| make people's features (lips, eyes) look different than normally. (and i know you said you had little choice as to the background lol).

anyway, just my feedback.
