the endlinks on the sway bars on my supra were similar to the bolt you posted... i got them off, but wow, what a pain in the ass those where... my sway bar install would have been 10 min, front and back, if it wasnt for those.

What made you go with Tokiko's rather than say Koni's?

I already had a pair that were given to me in the rear, so I thought I'd finish it off all round. I really wanted to get the 5-way adjustable Illuminas for all 4 corners, but this whole turbo project is sucking my money up like a freaking boat so that'll have to wait! :D

Well it's been a long 7 months (give or take a week) of looking at this sucker begging to be installed in my car. I'm now less than a week away. Today I'm taking my final inventory before I pack everything up for the trip to $$$$$$$$ Friday morning to finally bring this project to completion. Everything seems to be here except for the LSD, clutch, pusher fan, FMIC and gauges, which are all installed.
I can hardly wait! :D :D :D

Good times! :) Thanks Mark!

mspeedP5 04-10-2006 09:26 AM

Huge props to Chris, Rich and Mike @ $$$$$$$$. You guys went beyond the extra mile to help get this project to completion and "burning the midnight oil" would be a major understatement.
Thanks again for taking it on and putting up with me hanging around and providing all my lack of expertise! :D

Black SC2 04-11-2006 04:51 PM

Is that a grease pit in your house?

mspeedP5 04-11-2006 08:13 PM

Yup! My garage is actually built over a workshop in the basement and there is a sliding panel in the floor that opens up into it below. There is a raised platform in the basement shop with a ladder going up to the garage that puts me right at working height for the underside of the car.
The reason I bought this place was for the garage. It just happened to have a 2000 sq. ft. house attached to it! :D

Edit: If you look at the picture on page 2 of this thread of the planned location of my oil return line, it was taken standing on the platform underneath my car...

RZZ 04-13-2006 12:02 AM

mark, r u sure those kumho mx will give you enough grip to run in SM? :p

no r-compound tires?! :p

btw, it is nice to see your turbo finally in :D
