| Calling all health professionals or future health professionals...*report in here*
Hello,
Was just reading the "UBC Med Guidance" thread, and as SIR_vfung said, I too did not expect there to be quite a few MD students on RS.
So, I'm curious to see if we have any other health professionals out there. I know of a few pharmacy students and a few med students... I don't know of any dentistry students on RS or Nursing, etc. Anyhow, If I left your name out, just add it on. Or if i left a category out, just add it on. Let's start building the RS medical community... heh

You make decent money as a doc, but the lifestyle can be quite stressful. All the people I know and went to school with are in it to help people, including myself.

Where's everyone now? On campus? In the community? hospital? And what year? I've come across quite a few pharm students

i'm on campus 2nd year pharm... meh is too... i think jermyzy is graduating this year? skylinegtr is graduated... and not sure where everyone else is...

I work for the Coast Foundation Society in their boarding homes in Vancouver as well as for their Forensic Transition program on Riverview grounds. | |

what_the?: I'm doing my last term.. them I'm done with school (thank god).. for now at least I met some people: Anoop? Scott? Ali? Rocko? I think they're in 3rd year though... ABA therapy

I guess I'm the only lab tech here, I work in microbiology/chemistry/hematology and soon transfusion medicine at St Paul's hospital.

^ how come? Aren't you in med school?
I thought once you go into med, you have to revoke your possibility of being a pharmacist. i.e. you can't be both...

| Yep to all. I know them from the IHHS course I took at St. Paul's. We had a team called "Social Pharmers" LOL. I see Anoop every now and then. He got me into doing the C.H.I.U.S. thing at the DCHC. And yes, big guy Scott.. tell him that I've been hooked on soy nuts because of him LOL.
