Future guidance. I think it's a common occurrence for APPL to see this. And I won't be surprise given that it's going to be harder for Apple to attract more buyers given the # of job loss and lack of desire to buy new high end tech.

Given the lack of innovation and new products out by Apple, I can see why people are taking slowly leaving. I'm holding APPL until they come up with the Apple iCAR!

Ahh I was just thinking there should be a stocks thread somewhere in the site.
It was hiding in this sub-forum haha!

Greetings Wolves of Revscene!
I'm super late to the party, just started reading and learning (if you can even call it that) about stocks a couple months ago. Never really thought much about it before. Always just grinded away at work, scared to dabble in what I feel is essentially (semi-knowledgeable) gambling.

Bought a little bit into Tesla at the urging of some friends and profited a bit.
Still not really sure what I'm doing but it's exciting to read random news tidbits like Netflix spiking and now GameStop going HAM. I missed the train on both but can't cry over spilt milk. I would be a billionaire if I bought Apple 10 years ago amirite??

Anyways, just dropping in. See how everyone's doing. Sharing is caring. Ride the rocket together? lol
Did not read the previous 400 pages of this thread.

Some peers are telling me to look into buying NIO? :considered:

Obsideon 01-27-2021 04:07 PM

Also been hearing these floating around:
AMC
BLNK
FCEL

But I'm such a newb and out of the loop it might already be too late or already mentioned.

Looks like some trolls got their discord banned, by bypassing their censor bots

Wonder why someone would put the effort into doing that :considered:

It didn't work though. The retards actually held KEKW

You guys think GSE is done now, or will it keep screaming?

lowside67 01-27-2021 05:02 PM

IMO, the show is over. A number of major hedge funds have publicly admitted to being out and the hysteria is going wide.

The question is whether the power of the internet can do the same with AMC?

Buy the rumour, sell the news, the reason stocks have a run-up before earnings is that investors are betting on rumours that the company will perform well. Usually when the actual news is released, this will be the peak of the stock price as the financial information will be priced in now, which is the best time to sell.

i'm no expert but from what i've read that may just be a tactic to push the market lower, because if they were truly forced to cover their shorts then they'd have to buy a lot of stocks at high prices, and prices would have rose sharply which they didnt really do yet..

GME's % of short interest is still at 120%... So what is considered a high percentage? For instance, AMC is at 40% and BB is only at 8%. Are people jumping into BB also for the short squeeze or due to something else?

Nobody is buying apple after the bullshit they pulled on the latest iphone... same old display tech with little speed improvement and no charger in the box.

that'll piss a lot of people off but leaked info says 120hz display coming next time.

i have no fucking clue why they always follow the foot steps after steve jobs died, i love apple but the latest iphone 12 had no forward thinking tech that was game changing compared to the competition

4doorVIP 01-27-2021 09:19 PM

rode AMC from 4.71 :fuckyea:

I have a rotten feeling in my gut that this might be the beginning of the end. The establishment is upset that retail traders are winning and they're not the ones manipulating/controlling the market. This has literally become a class war.

Here's why I feel this way:

It's the beginning of something.. As for what.. well the 1% always come out on top. So whatever it is, they'll be favored again most likely. Under this government at least.

They've constantly been fucking over American people for their own gain for over 20 years now... Finally some people fight back and it's all come to a head. Let's see what happens? Glad I'm not a part of it LUL

I agree with this. I feel like this has created awareness around how our financial markets actually work and this is for the better. I've certainly learned a ton over the last month, particularly over the last week. What happens next, I'm not sure. Maybe this is all a necessity for people to start to understand that their neighbor isn't the real "enemy".

Crypto will likely be one of the next battlegrounds (if it isn't one already). The elite is coming for all of us, one group at a time.

We all know it's going to end badly for both sides.

No harm in securing profits. And watch the FOMO.

People say this exact same thing with EVERY iPhone release... yet here we are

Apple users don't GAF about screen refresh rates...

Due to timing and a slow ass iPhone 7, I just picked up a iPhone 12 Mini... and going back to the straight edge aluminum trim design and having a smaller option it's a fantastic design back to the old 5/SE days... and the fact some colours across the range in the 256GB sizes are sold out / have waiting times show buying has not slowed down, particularly in the USA where you can buy on monthly payments from the Apple website -- something we are not afforded in Canada.

ilovebacon 01-28-2021 02:50 AM

Why would you guys think that both side will end bad with the commotion around gme? Everything was legal. The shorters are just having a taste of their own medicine.

eclipseman 01-28-2021 04:21 AM

The meme of $1000 for GME may not be a meme anymore. I've seen figures and images of there still be 130% short interest as late as yesterday.

Also boatloads of calls expire ITM on Friday.

SkinnyPupp 01-28-2021 04:37 AM

The hedge funds will love it if it happens Friday at around $420 and they are only out a few billion LUL

But maybe it'll be 2 Fridays from now at $6969 EleGiggle

eclipseman 01-28-2021 05:24 AM

Robinhood just restricted the ability the purchase shares of GME, BB, AMC and NOK. Pretty shady fucking shit.
