Dude, nobody is hating you on RIMM. We all took in your bullish view on RIMM but we see it with risk. You didn't acknowledge other ppl's criticism, no need to be a sore loser and hate on ppl for making money on RIMM.

Strykn bought rimm (just going to use rimm cuz it's easier) through options not go long on the damn stock.

I do see your view long term with RIMM but no need to be a sore loser about it.

free-z33 02-05-2013 02:11 PM

im not sure if you guys know how to interpret english, but im not hating on anybody. I just want to point out the fact that these were the people who were saying Rim was dead up until yday. Now the same people on are on Rims dick! I want all of you guys to make money on Rim, why do you think i have been pumping it up for the last couple of months yet know one believed me. All you guys have to do is admit that you were wrong, and jump on the bangwagon. ON ABOARD!

Look...even with the sell outs by RIMM today, it doesn't mean everything is over and it's rainbows and sunshine for RIMM.

IMO, they still have a long way to go. Android is destroying the smartphone market. Even ppl are being skeptical of Apple if they can pitch a perfect game for that long. If RIMM can lose its share to Apple, Apple can easily lose it to Google. Who knows who's the next one coming? Facebook OS?

The fact is that RIMM went from $6 to $18 in such a short time, you're bound to sell off a little. The problem facing Android is that what ppl use to use as their selling niche and sell it at a price? Google is doing it for free. ex. BBM? There's all sorts of instant messaging system.

^how long..? doesn't look like it made much movement

3klipze 02-06-2013 09:00 AM

Had position around mid august and accumulated up to late September 2012. Around 18% return

highfive 02-06-2013 09:49 AM

Dell is going to face some problems. One of the bigger holders doesn't like the deal. So I'm thinking Dell probably needs a higher bid to move on with privatization.

How much money have u guys started out with an investment?

Seems like a win-win to me. Firstly I know the shares are worth $13.65. Secondly, there's a chance Michael Dell may need to up his bid.

Self disclosure, I hold shares of Dell. So I'm possibly biased.

I think the situation will only make the buyout more expensive especially when shareholder feel that the price is below worth.

I traded 8k to 100k+. Keep this in mind, the lower your capital, the more risk you will have to take starting off and the lower your capital, less breathing room!
