i know a wet 75 works, but i wouldnt go past 50 dry. your setup with 550s though, so a 75 dry might be the perfect thing for you. if i hasd the cash, i would probably buyy that today..... and now off to see Goldmember....

phoned toyota about 91/92 front door speaker mounts. they came in 6.5" instead of the 4" from 86.5-90. and since my phone is such a POS, it didnt ring and the guy couldnt leave me a price on the answering machine....

whats new with everyone? im bored, and i dont want to spend money (savin for springs and shocks now)......

toby... ive got some JBL 5 1/4's i wanna try and squeeze into my car eventually. gonna need another amp first. LMK the price on those mounts... 6's would be a little big for the front, no? what were the 91-92 rear speaker mounts like? ive still got the stock speakers in the rear

also, have u noticed that armorall'in the painted vinyl surfaces is a little strange? i wonder if i should clear coat it or something, it just doesnt seem to stick well. suggestions?

ill have to wait until monday to find out. i have 6.5s right now, but im planning to sell them for some Massive speakers to match my subs and amp. still waiting on one more bit of info before i can install my alarm.... as for armoralling the painted panels, im not sure, i havent tried it....

well as for puttig in 6.5 it will not work out to great for one reson int eh stock spead aka baffle it to sallow for most speak i had ot add in spacer for mine to i am ruing a good 4 inc as well

the backs are nice and deeep and can put in 6.5 easy just have to cut the opeing bigger

they made diffent baffles so they can fit you can try but it will be tough

ps there pretty sallow boxes as well so don't gett to deep of speakers i knowcaues i have done it

ps if you going to put in speake ri whould all so plug the ports or close em off that is what i did and they sound alot better

resone being there alot of port noise

the rev sean meet was fun it enjoyed my self got some neat pics as well

here i will give em to you muray so you can post em and shit

my brakes are getting bad now still drive it but not fast any more any thing over 140 and stoping kinda sucks it will stop but not the way i wan tit to just need more room

its worth a shot....

i just built the cardboard prototype of my aluminum cold air box. took me about 20 min. im pickin up some aluminum sheet from the metal supermarket, hopefully have it in by tomorrow night, tuesday maybe. i might go to the autox on thursday, so you guys could see it then. ill build one for you if you want it, for a small cost hehe, although im not sure it would work for murray since he has the lexus afm. maybe if it turns out nice i should sell them on supraforums? lol

i wonder how much jeff from suprasport will charge for his. probably US$100..... maybe sell mine for US$40? hehe

is your CAI box the same design as the SS one?

i ordered that CAI K&N heatshield that just sorta wraps around the FIPK. probably wont get the job done nearly as well as completly blocking the surrounding area like the SS layout, but its better than nothing, and looks really cool

well.. i WAS just going to run the wire for the antenna for my alarm.. but then i had to pull teh a-pillar... and then i had to pull the radio to get at the gauge cluster.... which led to the seat... the carpet..... the seat is FUCKIGN HEAVY.... but i found $11.34 in change under my seat, under the carpet, in quarters and loonies lol

joy last day of work then i finaly get 2 days off it bean long time for me to get days off i going to put on my t blots czlmps and finsh my hard pipe's theni will be pimp

but pretty soon i gong to be starting my new job so that means 2 job whiht no tiem to play but saterday and sunday

this is what it will be liek start work at 1 am get off at 6 am go to my new job doing roofing, start at 7 get off at 3 to 4 then sleep and then repeat

so there is auto x comeing up
