What's a 'softbox boom stick'?

Must've been a rental, but I don't recall a boom going out in the past few days.

Sorry don't know what it's called! Lol it was a black pole about 8' long on a dolly or base that had a 1m x 1m softbox attached to the end of the stick. Had a Beau Photo red label on it!

Was the logo on a sandbag? We have sandbags with the Beau Photo logo for sale. That would make sense.

Nice, but a little over edited for my liking! Also, I don't know what I'm supposed to be focused on... the sky? Water? The ship? If you pick a focus, like more emphasis on the sky, or more on the ground below, I think the photo becomes stronger. If you put the horizon dead center, it makes the photo weaker compositionally.

Just my 0.02c

major haze today. or that pollution coming over from the Vancouver side.

this is looking the other way. this image is only cropped a bit, and resized so it's not too big.

Thanks! I greatly appreciate it! I wasn't going for a reflection just wanted a rainy day photo :P I was bored that day. I was trying to get more rain in the shot but it wasn't working out.

I got mine off eBay. There are two version. Danbo and Danbo Mini. I got a mini. 2.5 inch. The regular is 5 inch.

^Nice shot!! Still kind of expensive on ebay though >.> Was thinking it'd be around like $20, but it's still in the $40++ range.

This is Sisig! It's literally like deepfried bits of pork with seasoning. It is delicious!!!
