MicroSD and MiniSD are different.
Japanese Kingston MicroSDs are the recommended ones, same with the Kingmax ones as they're the fastest.

Kingmax are very slow, and have a lower capacity than the Japanese Kingstons (I know because I have both, and I tested them against each other)

i have an m3 simply
i originally ordered an r4, but they ran out so they gave me an m3simply instead.
on most sites, the m3 is $10 more expensive even though they're exactly the same... so most ppl opt for the cheaper r4

I'd get the M3 Simply.
The R4/M3 are pretty much identical, but I'd go with the M3 since they've been around longer.
I recommend getting flash carts from the three major companies, Supercard, EZ-Flash and M3/G6.
