^ lol that's just another way of my saying the phone's sexy. xD

and yeah i wouldn't buy one and use it as my only phone.. probably a phone i'd use on the weekends when i'm chilling with friends and to show off : P

Now THATS a waste of money.

Having to buy a second phone just to show off, when you could just have an all in one

well showing off isn't the main purpose it serves.. it still has a decent camera/media player
and i don't use most functions in a nokia anyways.
if you like something, it doesn't really matter how expensive it is, it wouldn't be a waste of money
but that's just my opinion..

What I mean is, me personally, I'd much rather have a phone that doesnt exactly look the greatest, but has all the bells and whistles to keep me entertained, as opposed to a phone from japan with a swivel screen that looks "sexy"

Cause a "sexy" phone sure as hell isnt gonna keep me entertained when I'm waiting .

Exactly, which is the whole point of this debate:

What is considered a waste of money.

The answer is there's no answer. It all depends on the user's needs, which is what I've been trying to say.

lol at no one use wifi and gps. here's a scenario, you are on a roadtrip to another city. Say seattle. You suddenly have a craving for kfc. same scenario your fancy sexy japanese phone cant get you any direction. maybe you can call 411 or something but than there will be extra charge not to mention you still have to buy a map and possibly get lost for quite awhile. On the plus side you can flip you phone screen up and down to keep you entertain while getting lost.

whatever floats your boat :) my n95 have replace my standalone gps, mp3 player, it can even do video out and surf the web. I no longer need to bring a laptop with me on short trips.

I used GPS a lot and still use WiFi a lot, but the point is, I don't really need either. Makes my life simpler that way. Less time being stressed, more time attracting (female) people with Japanese exotic. :D:D:D

The N95 is a powerhouse..
the N95-1 is a good deal for what u get
its far suprioror than anything for the keitais in canada
i unno
i could care less
i need the phone to
camera/alarm/sms/call

the others are added bonus..

i don't think i have ever used the gps in my n82. i tried it but it was just terrible.

as for wifi, it was too weird for me. my phone is my mp3 player and... sometimes an organizer. i guess its all in the user's needs.

btw, do the docomo phones support a2dp?? and can i play mp3 or would i have to convert everything...?

Depends on whether the phone has Bluetooth or not lol...the P905i has BT and A2DP. Plays AACs.

only P905i has bluetooth, it also has a2dp
and only SO905i has mp3 playback, others you will have to convert, although a few plays wma also.

The reason I bought the P905i. They don't really use Bluetooth over there.....at all. At least that's what I'm told.

Exactly, my phone isn't as sexy as some of the others (I have the SE K790) but to me I find it sexy AND it has all the capabilities I need/want.

I know this post isn't directed towards me, but I already had a gps before I got my phone so I don't need one in my phone. There may be others that are in the same scenario. :)
