I called Fido first and told them to give me a retention plan if I'm going to sign up for 3 years. Then they told me that it would take a couple weeks for them to get a phone to me and said it would probably be faster to buy it from a store and then give them a call back.

So I did...went to the Fido store in Richmond center. Lined up for about 15 minutes...took half an hour or so to sign up and get everything set up.

Unfortunately, I don't believe our DoCoMo phones have a warranty that comes with the package when we bought it... My guess is that your SOL for the time being..

Touch Pro doesn't do 3G with quadband, right? Only EDGE? The 900/2100MHz one is 3G for Europe.

Edit: Ah, nevermind. 850 band version is 3G.
