theres too many small minor issues/errors with the device

the biggest one..most important one is the earpiece problem. Have to either replace it, or "modify" it so it touches the connector

wifi is unstable..i think this is software

theres too much empty space.
the phone isnt as fast as everyone claims to be

the price is plummeting, and i wouldnt mind selling/trading my 5800 for a tried/test/true E71

After playing with a friend's Nokia 5800, i'd say it's not bad. Better sound quality than the iphone. I still like my E71's keyboard though. The Nokia 5800's keyboard is much quicker than the BB Storm after playing with it. Can't wait to see how much the N97 will be priced at (the one that's touch screen like the 5800 but with a slide out keyboard).

Anyone rocking an XPERIA yet? It's been out for a while, but still crazy expensive.

LOL. But yeah, I picked one up the other day. It isn't that bad of a phone but WinMo is like a damn dinosaur stuck in some new age zoo, its awfully old but in one awesome handheld package. I mean if this thing ran on a better OS itd be sick. TouchFlo 3D isnt bad but again it just piggy backs ontop of WinMo. Im going to play around with it for a bit then sell it. I love the screen on it though, its perfect.

You put TouchFlo 3D on it already? Or are you referring to Panels?

I got it with a TF3D rom on it already and it wasnt bad. I just flashed it with the X1a rom and some things run alot faster. Id still recommend using TF3D though as it makes it alot easier to navigate. Thats my friends Bold (I just installed a bestskinsever on it) and my E71-2 NAM, Kardboards ex phone.

Do you plan on getting any screen/full body protector for your Xperia? What brand would you recommend?

Mines is an X1i sadly. I really want an X1a for 3G purposes. I flashed it with the american rom but it doesnt change the frequencies since its a hardware issue. Go on to XDA forums to read up on rom flashing. Tonnes of guides to read all you have to do is load on Hard SPL and select your rom. Right now I only have a Momax on it and I plan to sell it soon. I'll trade u and add cash if your getting an X1a.

I'm trading my N96 NAM for it and it's a X1i too.... I probably won't need 3G anytime soon so it was fine with me.

I read up on couple threads on XDA already and I know how to flash roms.
But I don't really get what this "cooking" and "kitchen" stands for..... I guess cooking is flashing ?

Cooking is making a ROM. Kitchens are the tools and environments that help you do that. Something like that?
