For those of you that have PSN plus but don't have a Vita or PS4. You can still download the free games from the sony store online in case you're getting the systems later, that way you won't miss out on the freebies. is a ps vita even worth getting? i toyed with the idea but the game selection seems really weak. other than ninja gaiden and DOA5+ i didn't see anything good. reviews had CoD a total bust

I've pondered getting a vita but it doesn't seem worth it. Maybe if remote play was better and I could play over wifi while I was on vacation or something it would have been worth it but for just the library of games on the vita it seems pretty 'meh'.
Perhaps if the slim version comes for a cheap price I'd reconsider.

people are able to tether remote play no problems
i'd get a Vita 2000 or the 300-to-be if they bundle it with a PS4 down the road...or whenever I can snag one for $99 just for remote play and for the PS1 classics like Final Fantasy Remote play outside your home via the Internet | PlayStationŽVita User's Guide | |

Cheapest I've seen it is$170. I'd jump all over it if I saw it for$99. But ya to play ps 1 games would be cool

I brought a vita slim, all I use it for is remote play. There are simply no games on the vita that I even want to buy.

how does it work exactly..does it mirror the PS4?
can you play ps4 at home and get to a saved checkpoint...turn the tv off but leaving ps4 on then head out
couple hours later out and about you whip out the vita and pick up exactly where you left off in game?

PS4 automatically saves wherever you are in the game as long as you don't quit it. Even when its in suspend mode. So you can put your PS4 in suspend. Once you setup your vita, you can remotely turn on the PS4 and continue. I haven't been able to setup remote play to work outside of my own network tho. cuz my upload speed on my internet connection is just too slow.
To remote play via mobile connection, you'd need at least a steady 4G network. 3G just don't cut it.

Hmm... I may get a Vita because I hardly find time to actually sit and play PS4. It would be nice to remote play.

Does anyone know where in Greater Vancouver I can downgrade/jailbreak PS3's? Preferrably Surrey.
Not trying to do anything illegal, just want to be able to backup my games and not use the Blu-ray drive as much as it breaks every few months.

doubt it. i believe it has to be in stock and advertised. i tried to PM a game at BB once and they called one of the competitor stores and it was OOS so i didn't get the PM
is a vita worth it at $150? i'm assuming most people are buying it soley for remote play?

It looks like the vita slim is coming to North America with a borderlands 2 bundle for 200 bucks so it might be worth it to wait for that, unless you want the OLED screen.

i actually bought payday2 when it came out in the summer, good coop game
alot of stuff in the level gets randomizer so it wont get too repetitive

OMG... downloaded and installed payday, took 1.5 hours about for doing both....
excited go sit to play the game. Game update notification, im thinking maybe 25 meg patch or something...
DOWNLOADING ANOTHER 4.2 GIGS for the update.  I finally pulled out my ps3 again after playing PS4 for the last few months, im getting really discouraged.
