PS3 Handles avi fine, i usually just dump the movie to my PSP and copy it over to the PS3 using a USB cable.

a month and half later...it's now on sale for half off already at FS/BB

^ i played the game sooo much for the first 2 weeks and then ghost recon came out

ill probably jump back into this game sometime in the summer when they start releasing the free maps... yes! the developers have confirmed that all map dlcs are free

as for the community dwindling down, do not worry about this, Warhawk was far from being dead before Starhawk came out, had an average of 5000+ players on daily basis 5 years after it came out

the game gives you the option to use your ps3 as a dedicated server much like Warhawk did..

connect over the network, copy the file vs simply playing it, disconnect from the internet, watch movie, delete file when done.

I think my G25 broke
I decide to play some GT5 yesterday and 10 minutes into a 60 lap endurance race, I loose traction and spin out. I thought my tires or low or something but my steering wheel would not turn as well as it did before and I noticed the vehicles wheels were turned all the way to the left and would not turn. I also noticed that the power light on the gear box was flashing. So I turned off the system and tired again but the G25 steering wheel does not spin like it usually does when you turn on the PS3 and start GT5. I guess the little motor inside the G25 failed. I'll try to fix it but I'm thinking of just buying a new G27 if I ever get a damn job lol.

^ I'm interested to try it, as I've always been a fan of Smash Bros. However, I feel like it'll be more of a hype game that gets put on the back burner and forgot about within a year, and everyone will just want to play Smash Bros again due to character selection and popularity.

i know they give 50% off codes for harmony remotes to logitech.com if your remote dies and out of warranty...hard to say if it'll apply to other product but worth a shot

starting $199 for 16GB (pretty shitty deal unless it's SSD or sthing)
this leads me to believe they probably won't release PS4 until late 2014

I still wouldn't rule out PS4 by 2013. The PS2 Slim came out in 2005, then PS3 out in 2006 correct?

With the new XBOX coming out next year, I don't see PS4 being that far off behind them.

if they make everything backwards compatible with the ps3 i don't see a reason to upgrade. i'm not sure what they could offer that a ps3 can't.

i wonder how many next iteration consoles they can sell

Not my Type of game,even smash Smash bro's looked like a dumb kids game growing up....& it was.....

I've been lucky with my playstations
Had a 1st gen PS1 with no issues for the life of the console on the market
1st gen PS2 with no issues for hte life of the console on the market
same thing with my PS3. BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY works perfect, too bad my Capcom vs SNK 2 wont support USB fight stick

same i'm first gen for ps1, ps2, but i have a fat non-back-compatible ps3. all still working. at least controllers aren't too bad in price these days if you need to replace it. just get the packs that come with a game...

^^ Same here. Still have my ps1 with connectable flipup screen and ps2 and all still works perfectly lol...

Pretty much gave up buying electronic consoles for many years, only play with fiance's nintendo wii like 5 times/year lol...
