yeah. i went there with my wife and some friends on friday. This time for dinner. For a vancouver lounge, its pretty good. Completely different vibe from the day time restaurant. More relaxed than Ebisu. I was also surprised of the quality of the food considering the cheap prices. We only ordered from the $5 tapas menu. Shrimp dumplings were SO tender. Comes with 5 small pieces instead of 4 giant hard pieces. Their ebi mayo was also killer. They make their own mayo sauce. The batter is different from guu and kingyo, its more like coconut shrimp. not greasy at all either. Tuna takaki was a bit overcooked, but salmon takaki is good. I totally recommend this place whether for drinks or dinner.

sorry, kinda got a bit off topic :P

Oops, that was vague..
In downtown on Robson, by the public market, it's near Ehwa.

Also in Coquitlam, there's a place on North Road across from KFC.. I don't know the English name sorry!

You mean Suk Gi Shi Dae beside KFC and SUBWAY?
Its Sam Gyup Sal (pork belly) dedicated restaurtant. the best meat food to have with soju.

When drinking with friends, we always have bu dae jji gae, or kimchi jjigae, etc some kind of broth to have. Shot of soju + spoon of broth after is best combo IMO.

Okay. So E-Hwa has long since stopped serving alcohol after 12:30 (pretty much)
Norboo has their limit at 1.

Where's the next best place?
I know theres more just further down on Robson, but my friends are too pussy to check it out, and I'd rather not waste my time going down there only to be shot down.

RakuRaku is good, but parking sucks, and the location is ehh.
Anybody try any of the places in Richmond?
or ARE there any places in Richmond?

Rakuraku in Coquitlam was AWESOME. Tons of Korean girls, but way too far to make it a usual place, or even a drinking place since it's a bit of a drive.

Recommend a place in Downtown/Richmond?
Or even Coquitlam, just for the girls.

edit:
Mi-ok got married to some white guy or something who's old as fuck.
But there's a girl whos "cute" who's (KBC?)

What the fuck happened to this place.

Is that the place with the tinted out windows or always crazy dark from the outside?

Looks like Ewha got busted too many times now and are abiding to their alcohol license rules now lol.
