LF a GOOD 2v2 partner... I have a gold ranked 2v2 team and a top 5 silver team but wouldnt mind one more team mate for when they're not online... I play zerg and I am pretty decent at the game.

every player you team with counts as it's own team/rank/division u can team up with whoever u want whenever.

i dont think rankings mean too much. i dont play the game much, dont know all of the units, and im still sitting on three platinum teams.

if you do well on your placement matches (4-1 3-2) you will get placed in platnium. It only means more when you play more and stay in platnium (that's when you get put up against higher lvl players). You're elo points mean the most

thats exactly why i dont think much emphasis should be placed on the tier youre in. the placement matches have all been a joke thus far for me. im pretty sure you need to be 5-0 to get into platinum though? i dropped out of one of our placement matches for fun and we ended up in gold.

yea placement matches are a joke, you gotta stay in platnium to be really good. I stopped playing ladder, it was a waste of time because bnet reset every week or so.
Cant wait for 4v4 thats gonna be intense lol

It's not like I'm the greatest at this game but I seriously keep getting stuck with the worst partners ever in Random 2v2. I get it not everyone wants to rush but for fucks sake get some sort of force in case you get attacked early. It drives me fucking insane, I'll have shit loads of units but when you're fighting 2v1 because your partner isn't doing jackshit it sucks. It seriously makes me want to reach through my screen and smack them.

its just as bad having some punk telling you what you're supposed to be doing and in the end, it is you that bail them out time after time. :haha:

Ive found a setup with protoss that almost wins everygame. Depending on your partner if he can do SOMETHING and is not a total noob. Start off regular setup with 2 gateways rush with 4 zealots.
Make cybernics core(sp?) and 3rd gateway and upgrade warp gates.
KEEP pressure with units (depending what their build is). HARASS THE SHIT OUT OF THEM.
while doing this make stargates and pump carriers and and a mothership. If you get 3-5 carriers and a mothership, you pretty much won the game.
and if your carriers do die cuz their massing anti air units, just get dark templars GG
