They told me that not everyone will get a copy of the collectors edition, since they don't know how many they will get.

pre-ordered mine yesterday at 1pm at the richmond centre ebgames and got a beta key =D. they had like 15 keys or so left on the sheet at the time.

Can you preorder the regular and get a beta key?

so if i go to ebgames tmr and pre order, will they give me a beta key on the spot, or will i have to wait for them to call me or something?

If they still have some on paper, then they'll give 1 to you on the spot. but if the ran out then they'll probly call you later on. i'd say wait for them to say something about the beta but if not then ask.
