pacific rim. man it sucked balls, even the concept sucked. i actually thought Will Smith's After Earth was much better film. 5/10

curse of chucky 5/10

北京遇上西雅圖 Finding Mr. Right 8/10
it was a pretty good movie, filmed in Vancouver
the actress was awesome and the guy played the role really well too. It didn't do so well in HK but in China, it was a huge hit.

《致我们终将逝去的青春》 So Young 9/10 (actually the movie is entirely online on youtube)
The director is a famous actress 赵薇 and it was her first director debut. The story is about love stories of kids born during the 80s. Very similar to how we grew up. It's a long movie but nicely done. the movie is very similar to 那些年
the preview sucks so please don't watch it and go straight to watching the movies if you're into love stories / 80s school boys and girls type movie.

Runner Runner
5/10

Nothing really special, kind of dry from time to time and the plot was predictable.
Gemma Arterton saved the movie

Gravity

9/10.

Go watch it in 3d and avx. If you can, IMAX it.

Just watched it in IMAX. Good 9/10 for me as well... but I'd suggest sticking to AVX. Maybe something was just out of whack with the IMAX setup at Colossus, but there were a lot of image issues that I found really distracting - some blurriness, some jitter of fast-panning backgrounds, and 3D that didn't seem to quite mesh. It felt like a movie that was shot for regular 3D, and then half-ass converted to IMAX.

Only other complaint for me was that the music was a little overbearing at times. KICK ASS music, to be sure, but just over-used.

man it could have been so much better. i didn't enjoy the script as there were no character development. the story was choppy and it just didn't flow together at all.

they had a great premise but i truly was disappointed with the director.

Gravity 8.4/10

Visually stunning and some gripping moments but idk, something about it just didn't click with me like it seemed to have with everyone else. I thought it was really good but most people have it at amazing.

Didnt like it. Thought there would be more character development. Sandra Bullock's performance made me dislike her, due to her constantly fucking up. I might be missing something here, but the movie felt very off to me. The musical score was decent, if not overused for dramatic effect.

Captain Philips I would rate at 9.5 out of 10. I got to go for free, but it was outstanding!

Gravity 3D 6/10 - got me way too dizzy at the beginning with all the spinning. the glasses made it worse im sure. Rest of story line was a weaksauce castaway variant.

Don Jon 8.5/10 - HAHAHHAAHA. This is how I picture xilley. No but seriously, if you watch porn, this is a fun one with the gf or to ruin a few princess girls. lost 1.5 because this movie made me less attracted to scarlett. cant stand jersey on her.

WTF @ the ending. Felt like I was robbed. First half of that movie was amazing. Then it goes downhill from there. I swear JGL wrote this movie just to make-out and grind with scarjo. My advice, go watch the first 20 minutes and then demand a refund.

Gravity 10/10

Seriously one of the best movie experiences I ever had in my life.

Don't watch it on anything other than the biggest 3D screen you can find. I got a dead center seat in an empty IMAX theatre and it was FUCKING AMAZING.

My jaw still hurts from clenching it so much.

I actually feel sorry for the people who didn't enjoy it.. Not saying that you're dumb or whatever.. just that you missed out. For whatever reason, if it didn't connect with you, I feel bad for you.
