a quiet place. 8.5 /10
i thought it was pretty legit. great screenplay, score and action flow.

There were a few things you could see coming and a few you don't know how it was going to end. It's a story about fatherly love and protecting their children.

Never was a fan of John at all in any of his movies and Emily Blunt was just ok. To see John doing such a great job on directly and acting, props to him.

Would recommend for sure.

Han Solo: 6.5/10

It was a very fun "thrill ride" movie, with a lot of cool things to recognize and notice

I don't know if it's just me, but the set design in this stood out more to me than the other modern movies... It seemed to be a bit more 'toned down' so you could really take everything in, and enjoy the designs of each world. Every time they changed locations, I found myself just looking around at everything in the background while the dumb foreground stuff took place. That was enjoyable for me at least

I don't know if I'm explaining it correctly, because I liked the design of most of the other movies as well. Maybe because so much of the rest take place aboard sterile ships.

I also wanted to say that a series of Solo and Chewbacca would be FUCKING AWESOME to see.. Like a Netflix series of their adventures and whatnot, with all the Empire stuff just starting around the same time

I thought they should've went that route instead of making it a movie. Box office results seem to back that up as well, so far it's a failure for its budget.

I enjoyed it more than TLJ but I still think it's below average and forgettable.

making a solo tv show would be totally milking it.

i think solo the actual character, actually oversold his experience to the audience. he prob just goes straight to jabba and fucks his duty up like usual and then the next thing u know he's shooting greedo and meeting luke... there's not much in between haha

One of those movies that was enjoyable but not memorable. They tried too hard in this one.

Steve Jobs (Netflix) - 3/10

2 hours of arguments where nothing really happens. Would've rather watched a documentary about Steve Jobs.

deadpool 2 7/10 at best. needed better jokes and flow of movie
tomb raider... errrr gay as F. Some decent scenes but didn't think it was that worthy. Did not like the father in the movie as part of the storyline. so many loop holes.

American History X

Some of the dialog and acting seemed a bit forced. Not as good as i remembered it being when it was originally released, but still a very decent movie. Terrific premise.

8/10
