There were probably a couple instances within the past years about politicians abusing tax funds but you have to remember, we held a balanced budget, surplus and all, for awhile. Now, every country has it's ups and downs but when Canada maintains a balanced budget while the US goes to shit, it shows that we can really do fine on our own.
