Looks like night market is on. Heard it on the news just now. Richmond council approved it for two years. Not sure if it's the original promoter or the knock off dude. Starts May 30th. That's pretty soon.

Richmond will once again have a market at night on the weekends but don't call it the Richmond Night Market, this year it's the Summer Market. It opens May 30th.

Paul Cheung, the entrepreneur behind the event, has said that if he is granted the permit he will pay $35,000 to cover those extra policing costs.

Isn't Paul Cheung the original promoter of Richmond Night Market?

OMFG, The Gong Show was like one of my favourite game shows. Chuck whatshisnuts was a zany host. It didn't last very long, but the people who made it to the show were complete idiots. Made asses of themselves and shit. All in good fun. A talent show where you tried to make it past a certain amount of time before the judges gonged you out. It was a gong show, LOL.

I was reading this in the South Morning China Post a couple weeks ago. The last operator (Raymond Cheung) of the Richmond Night Market doesn't believe this new guy can fill his shoes. Guess we'll have to see...
