im hoping to pick up either my 2nd pair of N&F, or my first APC's

can anyone elaborate on the sizing down rule for apc? I heard you have to size down 2 sizes, but only for the new standard pairs.

Size down 3 or even 4 for new standards. Those stretch A LOT.

^^ I'm a 28 in my NF skinny guy but that has some stretch. I wear a size 26 in APC NS and it fits ok but I could have gone down to a 25 for a more fitted look but its super hard to find a 25.

If you can try it on then find the size where its hard to get the last button on. That will fit perfect eventually.

edit: actually they have all sizes here http://www.contextclothing.com/item.php?id=6 wow I remember when the retail price was $160 a couple of years ago..

New Cure if you're a skinny dude, New Standard if you're the average male

^^^^New standard is what you want then. Petite standard and new cure are really skinny and rescue is relaxed.

ecru embos give slow fades, maybe you should have gotten broken twill (assuming you have slim jims) for faster fades. wear them harder!!

Just bought first pair of N&F.
If I need to hem it, should I pre-soak first then hem? Or Hem then pre-soak?

Also, to keep the indigo darker for a longer time, I'm suppose to put them in vinegar?

Thanks for the help =)

Even if the bottom of leg wraps around the bottom of my foot? Feels weird walking barefeet like that...

^ hem if you want to sacrifice your stacks. when i got my first pair, it wrapped around my heels too, but now i don't even notice it. in fact, the jeans got a little shorter, maybe due to the stacks.

hem it so when you're BAREFOOT, the opening JUST reaches the ground/heel. That'll be just enough to stack nicely and not bother you when you're walking barefeet.

I'm looking for a pair of nudies for a gift. Its the thin finn dry black coated or thin finn black coated indigo. Would any of you guys know where to find this pair in vancouver? I know which stores sell nudies but am not sure if they have this exact style and maybe people here might have seen it.
