The APC Rescue is also a fairly loose fit.

don't remember the NF Bfits, but I do this slim guy is "quite" relaxed. However, another alternative you may want to pursue is to grab a skinny guy that is sized UP. I've seen good fits from that, and usually the bigger sizes are on sale more often.

Anyways, I need to sell a pair of NF Deep Indigo Skinny Guy DEEP indigo in a size 32, they are brand new with tags, I just bought them and left them in closet cuz it was too small. Looking to sell and put it towards some other clothing haha. PM me!

Check BoysCo, J2, Below the Belt, Holt Renfrew..
Diesel has a bajillion different fits/washes every season.. it's going to be hard to track down an exact one.

Hey guys, I just picked up my first pair of RAW's from Dutil. Some nudie hank rey recycle dry's. Now I've read a lot about buying a size uncomfortably small. Being a bigger guy that was a bit more of a chore then I thought and here lies my problem. I ended up getting 38/34's. As of right now they fit pretty nice, just a little snug. The problem was that I couldn't get the effin buttons done up on the 36's on a different style and they didn't have a 36 in the hank rey's. But after getting home and wearing them for a bit i've noticed a that below the ass is a little loose and folds over a bit when walking. Not the diaper effect but more of a fold. After looking online i think this is normal for this cut as they have a low "yoke" providing a bit more of a seat. In your opinions do you think this is alright? or have I bought too big of a pair and that seat will become really baggy?... I'm a little worried since I spent $200 on them and I do want them to last. I figure I'll leave them off now until I get some opinions incase I need to switch them up for something else. And yes I tried on some APC's and Naked & Famous.. but I like the nudie the most as they seem to lighten more with wear.

If you want long time use, you shouldnt he nudies or apc's. Ive read that they give a crotch blow earlier than other raws. As for sizing, whatever fits you comfortably is your own choice. Some people would rather size down a lot in order to get insane fades but obviously give up comfort. Since it seems like you want to just have them long lasting then just stuck with what you have which seems like you are comfy in them. But if you want an excuse to get the 36's then here it is: they will stretch over wear and will be way more comfortable.

Are you wearing them on your waist, or are you sagging them a bit? It sounds like with the fold you are sagging them a bit? Also were you able to button to the top button with the 38's? When buying Nudies or APCs, I will buy a size where I cannot button up the top. They will stretch in about a week where they will start fitting you.

With that being said, I find APC's and Nudies catering more to the slimmer guys since they usually don't have much room in the thighs (at least for me lol). I have fat thighs myself and I would suggest looking at Samurai 5000VX cut, or some of the Big Johns. If you're looking for a tapered look, go ahead and just get them tapered. Make your jeans fit you

thanks guys, i think i'm going today to see if i can find anything better.. they had a pair of Band of Outsiders that were cut like 501's.. I couldn't get the top button done up but if raw's stretch then maybe i'll try those..
I think it's just the cut of the hank rey's I don't like.. too relaxed up top.. Im more of a low rise tight on thigh and boot cut kind of guy.

And to answer your question RESN yeah I imagine Im wearing these jeans lower then I should be. They've got a high waist which I'm not normally a fan of.

So after all that the guys (and gal) at Dutil were awesome. I ended up picking up some APC Rescues.. Definitely the fit I was looking for and I can 'just' button up the 36's.
So here goes the start of my life vs jeans journey, round 1.

There's plenty of guys that are more muscular but still wear skinny jeans. But I understand they're not for everyone.

Diesels or Sevens. Nudies has some more relaxed cuts as well, but they're still a bit slimmer.

Also you can never go wrong with Levi's..

Bootcut is falling out.. If anything try a straight leg.

bootcut is indeed dead, but doesnt mean you cant wear it. levis still makes lots of bootcut jeans. and lately they're not as flared out as they used to be. even bootcut has become a little straighter than 5-10 years ago.

I have a pair of bootcut Sevens and Levis for when I don't feel like wearing my raws.
Like unit said above, they're more of a slim-straight fit with the tiniest flare at the bottom.

Unit does have a point though... those TR and R&R bootcuts are just plain hideous. :P

To the guy looking for bootcuts... I agree with most of the other people here... straight is generally the way to go. Unless you're wearing some gigantic biker boots or huge runners, straights will generally cover what you need covered.

^i didnt really say that.

pushing style on people is beyond pointless because the whole point of style should be being different or interesting.
telling people what they should or shouldnt wear is like telling them to look like you.
if they ask for advice then thats one thing, telling them that what they already like is bad is kind of the wrong attitude imo
