WooT. Alignment on Saturday. Car feels awesome. Can't even explain. I'll wait til after the alignment and a good aggresive drive for the full review. Results sofar are far outpacing the stock suspension.

There are a few other cars coming down with DC450 from CR, so won't be all 7's, but we still gotta outnumber everyone with our Rotary Powah! Yeah I'll be there in the FASTEST NA 2ND GEN RX7 AROUND!!!! (yeah thats right) Tell all RX7 drivers you see. Bowen Timmies, 9:30-10pm. Not sure what'll go down, probably our regular nightly hell raising duties....I mean....activities. See you all there.

120,000kms? that's kinda too high for rotary unless the engine has been rebuilt.
Rotary is really fun, but I don't know.
I heard as long as the compression is fine, no matter how many kms the engine has, it should be fine.

Is that EightTrack's car? If so, YES! He knows what's up, so you can bet it's been cared for. They're incredibly fun cars, and for what he's asking, it's a screaming deal. Go for it man, you'll be _rx7s_ for life once you do. Basic, they're pretty reliable if you baby them maintenance-wise, but beat on them driving-wise. Well, not BEAT on them, but give it a spirited drive ever few weeks, which you'll want to do all the time anyways.
Have fun!

		 | Exactly! All this reliability bullshit about the rotaries need to be dispelled. My engine outlasted a TOYOTA pickup truck. How is that for reliability for a sports car? Average life span for turbo models are around 160k range and N/A 200k+. Its all up to the care taker how long he wants his car to last. They're like all 12-16 yr old cars, with age comes wear and tear. Besides who cares when rebuild day comes? THINK STREET PORT!

ya, I just don't like the fact that all these people keep telling me "Oh it'lll blow up on you...you'll need a rebuild soon..." blah blah blah..>CRAP like that.
Anythin to watch for maintance wise? to keep it runnin good? And for engine rebuilds....as I'v eheard they common....how much they fun for? Just for a rebuild of the stock engine..? Any estimates?

_supras_ just check the oil level/quality. If it looks decent, and I suspect it will, that's normally a pretty good indication that it's being looked after. Rotary engines burn a little oil by design, so you need to stay on top of it, checking the oil every week or so, topping it up little bits here and there. If I were you, I'd totally go for it. It's an awesome car, and SO MUCH FUCKING FUN. Nothing beats tossing an RX-7 into some corners, or hearing the purr of the engine at 7000rpms.

Any estimates? | Oh, about rebuilds, if you're going to get it rebuilt you definitely want to get a nice street port on there too. I think it's somewhere in the 4000 range, maybe? You can do it much cheaper or much more expensive, depending on what you want done.
