From now on Timpo, limit yourself to one post a day here. When you're getting ready to make it, see if you've got anything else you need to add, and add it before you post.

You people get annoyed way too easily. It's easy to ignore his posts anyway, and I appreciate his pictures, some amazing things I've never seen sometimes.

hahahahaah nice edit coal you mook
check this out, from another forum: Quote:

So I have a guy that comes to my work with a 88 RX7 Turbo II. This thing was really nice. The guy really knew his stuff when it came to this car, but was still learning the tricks of the trade. This car was his pride and joy till about 6 weeks ago when he came into my store looking all down. His car had been stolen. My heart really went out for the guy not only cause his car got jacked, but I really love that style RX7. It looked pretty grim for David.
Today I was working the late shift and I see him pull up in his Toyota pickup. I was like "poor basted." When he came threw the door he had a smile on his face like a kid on Christmas morning. Now this is an old guy, like mid to upper 30's, and he runs up to me and starts jumping up and down going "I FOUND IT< I FOUND IT!!!!!". After he calmed down he explained to me that he had been at the Ontario Mills the other night after a movie and saw two RX7's sitting next to each other in the outer part of the lot. He stooped and looked and noticed that the body looked very suspicious. He got out of his car and walked up to it and realized it looked to familiar. Even though the car had been panted he knew something was up. After a good long look he was convinced that it was his car. He called the police and the arrived shortly. He showed the cops his report of a stolen car and asked if he could try his key. They gave him the go ahead and the key worked.
Now somebody really was stupid when it came to stealing this car. Not only did they just use double-sided tape to hold on the new vin plate, but the had pics of the car being taken to the shop where it was mad into a full-on race car for the street. That's right. They made that damn thing into a race car. He popped the hood where he found a new motor, frontmount intercooler setup, and hks blow off valve, and a full suspension setup. Inside the car he found a full cage, racing bucket seats and a sound system. It was also equipped with a set of rays engineering wheels. Needless to say he was thrilled. The detective that was handling the case told him that normally they would confiscate the car for evidence and strip all the stuff off, but he was so blown away buy how some one would be so stupid to snatch a car and take pics of yourself building it into fully built race car and then drive it around and show it off, that he tool him it was only fair to just take that car home how it was.
This guy has no idea of what has happened for him. I had to explain what a frontmount is and what it does, along with all the other stuff does. He is going to bring the car down tomorrow so I can take a look at it and see if I can find any other goodies hiding it the car.
The detective thinks the car might had been stolen for a show car at the D1 competition a month of so ago. Now I know a couple of you guys went and I was wondering if in any of the pictures you guys took there where any 2nd gen RX7's. Just wondering.
But I just thought I would share this healthy dose of karma with you guys. I thought it was funny anyway.

Holy snow Batman! So I am coming back from Tyler's house tonight on the highway. I hit Nanoose and its snowing but not sticking. So I get to Parksville and its sticking hardcore. So I stay on the highway thinking its the better route. So I get past the weight scales and to that valley before the big straight stretch. And lets just say I came up the other side....in 1st gear....at about 5km/h....SIDEWAYS the entire way. Freakin intense. Barely made it home cause traction was nowhere to be found. Freakin hardcore....tons of snow here.....got like 3-4 inches between 7pm and 10pm.
later
