Dessert Place Around town?

Just want to ask if you guys know any good dessert place around town...any ethnic type is fine beside the reli traditional type of chinese dessert.."sweet water"

The only ones i know is

Where is True Confection and Sweet Obsession btw?

I heard death by chocolate is pretty sweeet. Its not ethnic tho.. :(

Thomas Haas needs to be on your list, a little far, but worth it

Unless you decide to have dessert after lunch or something.. they close really early.

ganache in yaletown. strawberry cake thingy is GOOOD.

death by chocolote is really good. Havn't been in yrs tho.

death by chocolate bites dirty smelly surrey ass....that is the biggest shit hole if you're looking for decent dessert.
most of their desserts are pre-frozen and are assembled by a HS kid with absolutely no knowledge of art.

i would reccomend BONTON; sweet obsession; thomas haas or as a last resort, true confection..

It's more of a to-go dessert and pastry place (frozen French-style soups and meals are available, haven't tried them) but there are 4-5 stools if you want to sit and eat.

Here are some I tried a couple months ago: White chocolate with mango jelly, pistachio _____, chocolate mousse with sour raspberry, chocolate dome with cherries, fruit tart with custard

I liked them. The chocolate cakes were rich and not overly sweet, and the pistachio cake was... unique. Each is around $4 iirc.

Dont go to sweet revenge. Bad service and not worth your money when there are many better places to try.

The only place I know of is Yavis Club.

7 Sweet Sins beside GM Place closes at midnight. Not sure if that's late enough though.
