Zeal in downtown.. i think it's on Seymour. they're pretty good
and they chairs you sit on while they wash your hair are massage chairs, which is nice

Misako in Richmond is cool!
I got a massage after they cut and washed my hair. Communication with the Jap girl was kind of a problem though, cos that girl only knew how to say yes and no.

Downtown china town, 10 box + 5 tip. My friend recommend that place to me, it's just as good as the 40+ salon in richmond

I'm guessing you know "kimochi, yamate" :haha:

Most of those places you have a style book and you just point and they do the rest.

sas 02-17-2009 04:51 PM

To be sure, are all of the places mentioned tailored to more asian styles? I don't have long spikey long hair

ilubebe 02-18-2009 08:08 AM

Tsubaki website:

Cut (Trim Cut) $15.00
Style Change (men) $20.00

Cut ( Trim Cut )

To trim one's current hair without changing the basic style.

Style Change

To cut more than a trim, resulting in the change to a hairstyle.

Again, just have to say: Tim! Ask many of the RS users who go to him, they all love him and go back.

For a good professional hair cut and styling, go see my buddy Tim. He's a professional and currently located on W.Broadway named Markus J Hair and Wellbeing. Placed first at the 2007 Men's Hair cutting competition in Vancouver and is currently competing in other competitions to showcase all of my designs. He also just competed last week and came 2nd in Vancouver.

Tell him Bryan sent you for a good deal or just mention Revscene.net. Do take note that he is a stylist so he charges a bit more than the average $25 haircut.

What went wrong?
I go to Tim and can vouch for him, but with any stylist you have to bring a picture of what you want your hair to look like

ilubebe 03-04-2009 02:18 PM

where can i go to get a decent haircut for $25 or under?
i live in coquitlam, so im ok with going to burnaby, but id rather not travel downtown to get a cut.

im used to going to BlueHairDesigns, and had a decent experience with Taka, but wouldnt mind trying out a new place.
