Ya, for me I'd be up in the air mainly because I haven't grabbed a marker yet although I'll probably have everything by next weekend at the latest. I probably wouldn't go if it was in North Van. but I'd probably go to the next one if it was Tsawwassen, Panther or Ambush. |
If my Marker arrives in time ill be game |

My phantom: http://photos-e.ak.facebook.com/phot...19324_6098.jpg Thats 5 10-round pods + the 15 loaded in the marker :D havent used 65 balls in a round yet :lol If you guys to to tswassen i'd come over from the island here (close enough cab ride, and i've heard rumors that they do a shuttle to the ferrry or something too) Though using my stock class marker at 4 BPS if i'm pushing it might be kinda lame against someone who can put out 20+ BPS (depending on the field) as for what to wear when playing, i just wear a long sleeved t-shirt with a normal t-shirt under it and my camo pants (basically a light denim) if i get too hot i go down to a tee (kinda shitty for body shots though). Basically dress for the weather, but baggier thicker clothes will protect you from welts better (more light layers is more effective that one thick layer too. Gloves are nice to have too, mechanics impact gloves are the best ones (rubber on the knuckles) that protect your knuckles form getting giant welts |

But hey we can rock the pumps together :) |
lol yeah, i actually quit paintball in like jan and sold off all my gear, then my douchebag of a boss took us all out paintballing (on his buck), a buddy was there with his phantom and got me hooked again. the jerk ended up costing me a few hundred bucks lol. I'm still gettin used to the whole snap shooting and strategy vs spray and pray but its coming along, and deffinately more fun than just spraying dimes (essentially what you're doing at FPO facilities). Learned alot at the pump day i went out to last weekend (myself and 40 something other hardcore pumpers in a game) I've got a 3.5oz that i use as well, and might pick up a right hand feed body so i can put a little 50 round hopper on it if i feel like it (2 thumbscrews and a minute or two to switch it over) |

just got let into a world of hurt today, apparently its a bad idea to bunker 4 guys with autocockers when your rocking a pump :p (got 50% though, I double pumped it to get a better spread ;)) |

does anyone nkow any speedball fields around vancouver? |
^ Twassen has one, it's Xball though if it matters |
^wahts xball, is that the same as speedball? and wahts it called? |

Xball is pretty much the speedball standard these days i belive, and it has more to do with the field layout then anything, I belive it's just like a generic bunker layout that everyone within the PB leagues play with these days, kinda like how the NHL has set size of arena's, nets, lines, etc. VS european hockey, it's just a different variation of speedball and i belive it's pretty much the standard these days, the "X" in xball comes from the huge X bunker in the middle of the field with all that said I hate speedball and have never played :P |
Xball is actually really different then "normal" Speedball... Xball there are penalties and penalty boxes... as well as timed half’s/periods I wont go through all the rules... but just google it to find out. A question for you honda racer... Why do you need a EGO if you are playing woodsball? I guess you have alot of money to burn... |
