Question about the "L" knowledge exam

Just wondering, if you fail, how long before you can take it again? Can you go back the next day or do you have to wait 15 days? I tried looking on ICBC's website and it was absolutely no help.

TIA

You can't fail the L test. It was the easiest "test" I've ever done...I was in and out of the place in under 5 minutes. 95% of the questions is common sense.

Inaii 04-29-2008 12:44 AM

You can if you don't read the bloody book. Not all of it was common sense. The ones I got wrong were things I wouldn't know unless I had driving experience (or I had taken more than 10 minutes before the exam to read some of the book). As it was I got 76% =/

jello24 04-29-2008 01:05 AM

you can take it the next day unless its a friday then you have to go on monday, im pretty sure thats what they say when theyre full.

Thank you very much jello24 :)

Why the hell would you only spend 10 minutes skimming through the booklet knowing you have an exam to do? http://smiliesftw.com/x/ugh.gif

Culture_Vulture 04-29-2008 03:18 AM

I think it's 7 days, but don't quote me on that one

moomooCow 04-29-2008 06:09 AM

I think it's a day.

Raid3n 04-29-2008 08:41 AM

Is the "L" test the same for all classes?

cause hes a cool dude

mickz 04-29-2008 03:11 PM

You can take it again the next day. Trust me on this one, I've failed once. My recommendation is for you to NOT take it on a Friday because if you do, you're going to have all weekend to think about it.

yeah but i want to get my motorcycles license. Just curious if its the same test about the rules and stuff. Or, is there other stuff on it as well?

3xta 04-29-2008 06:09 PM

You can take it right after the next day. I failed 2 times, not all the quetions are common sense, there are a mixture of different tests. So not every single one is easy.

Nintensity 04-29-2008 06:20 PM

I failed once
Before my second test, my friend told me about this website that gave you like 200 questions based on the exam, the next day later I was in and out of that room in 5 minutes

Crap that reminds me... I gotta go find that website; I remember it was posted on RS about a year ago.

Raid3n 04-29-2008 06:27 PM

yes, there is a knowledge exam for class 7L and Class 8

//RacingSpirit>> 04-29-2008 07:15 PM

when i took mine years ago, there was this guy that did it 4 times consecutively before he passed. it was pretty funny....after the guy failed, he just went back in line and paid again for the examination over and over until he passed.
