Not Paying For Skytrain, Using someone elses U Pass?
 

anyways ive always wondered what happend to those ppl without a ticket for the skytrain they just get asked to get off and lectured by those cops? what happens after? has this happened to anyone before? haha the skytrain usually leaves before the actions finished.

my sec question is has anyone tried using someone elses upass? what happens if u get caught?

I use other's u-passes, with a finely ground line across the face.

I think it's around a $280 fine or so (from the UBC deactivation thread) for trying to fool the system.

Otherwise, it's about a $75 fine for no ticket.

First offense, warning
Second offense, $75 fine
Third offense, $280+ fine
Fourth offense, Ban hammer on Skytrain/Translink for a year or more.

Note: they can change this in any order they want, or give you the hammer right away, I've heard it all.

You pay money, then get pwn3d. May as well do the BCIT enrollment trick for fasttrak sticker and then get everything for 1 zone :D

Some of the officers are nice and if you explain you normally have a bus pass and weren't able to afford one this month, and so completely forgot to buy a ticket (or use the "I'm really late for work and totally forgot" excuse), they sometimes dont even give you a warning, just make sure you buy a ticket and then go on their way.

If you're asian and the guy who stops you is white, you should be fine. I've been working in a lab for >2 years and we have 3 asian guys there and the white doctors keep getting us mixed up after >2 years.

They need ticket gates at the skytrain station. You can totally tell which kids aren't paying for their tickets and it pisses me off since I have to pay for this U-pass fee shit and these people aren't paying their share.

lol, my two buddies forgot to buy a ticket one time, and they were rushing to my basketball game, so they randomly picked up 2 tickets and in coincidence , the sky pigs were on patrol, so obviously the tickets were expired and they ran from the station, unluckly they ran after them, but they didnt get caught.

so i guess it really depends on how you act towards them, i remember a skypig letting me go once, i simply told him i was in a rush to my moms place and they let me go without a warning =)

Agreed its easier for girls....seen this a few times, where some really hot chick gets pulled off for not having a ticket, and all they do is take her down to get one and then let her go. And wouldnt suggest showing your dong, my charge you for public indecency:haha:

show them ur dong, and once they start pointing and laughing uncontrollably, run into the skytrain

thats why u get a day pass u have the scratch and only scratch it when u see someone checking tickets

Yeah, it's $173. I had one which was my first. No warning given, just a ticket given. I've also seen hot girls get ticketed also. To me, it doesn't matter now, they're just giving it to everyone with no warning as most people tend to think they can cheat the system...

you can even reuse it by usein nail polish by covering up the scratched parts

when's the last time you bought one of those? they don't use scratch ones anymore. You have to put it into the machine to have it validated
