overall I liked MGS3 the best out of the whole saga

nothing beats some of the innovative boss fights in Snake Eater especially the sorrow's and the end sniper duels and eating that bastard's parrot


@ Skinnypupp if you liked MGS4 I think you will really enjoy MGS3. The game will explain and help answer a lot of questions from MGS4 and the overall presenation is just as good, if not better imo, as MGS4. The only thing is I found MGS3 the hardest of the saga due to no radar and the whole hunt for food for stamina wasn't really vital as there was animals to kill everywhere.

this game is frekin amazing!!

there is still major issues with communication in MGO, although the amount of people that you play with headsets have increased, majority of the time, you cant hear other players at all..

but when it does work, serious teamwork is really fun and what makes this game stand out from the average multi frag fest

here is tip, if you stand next to your teammate with both of you not moving, press triangle to do a salute taunt, then you 2 or any other team mates near you will link up your "nanomachines" together like that scene with Meryl, then any players that linked up with you, you can see what they see where the enemies are, its like an x ray vision through walls, just as long as the team mates you hook up with has the enemy on their sight

haha another tip is a good one, that is if you have fast fingers

lets say someone is trying to CQC u and you know your on the loosing end (by a millisecond), quickly equip your grenade and press L1 to ready up to throw the grenade, if the guy succeeds at CQC'ing you, you will drop the grenade you were holding while you had L1 press, haaha its a good saviour and strategy as while the guy tries to choke you out, ur 'nade blows up on your feet and takes you and the guy out.... i did this 3 times so far... i manage to survive with little health the last 2 tries..

i play this game too much, well actually iv only had a total of 4hrs and 30 mins of gaming into it.. trying to level up my blade and CQC skill... the quarter back is easy to level up, just keep throwing grenades, even if you dont kill anything, as long as your throwing the grenades, your skill increases..

for the others who hasnt played MGO and reading this past couple of messages, this shows you how fucking difficult it is to look each other up on MGO when you have to come up with 3 different usernames just so you can log online.... but its worth it :thumbsup:

This game is either you hate it or love it. Everyone has their own perspective, I personally love it because I like doing cqc on people then choke slam them on the ground. Anyways, you can't really say is the worst online game because,,,, there are many worst ones out there. I have played both COD4 and Halo online many times, They are great games nonetheless but you can't have the fun of rolling on barrels and hiding in cardboard box... I just love it when I hide in an alley in a box,, 90% of the time,, I fool them and pop out and cqc choke. Also, most games are fanboy... so you can't say we are retarded for loving the game so much.

never play any of the previous mgs but i want to pick this one up cuz of the hype and i want to use my ps3 for more than a bd player. will i be able to follow the story having not play the the previous ones?

i could try to see if i have the patience to replay the previous games but i only have a psp and my ps3 aint backward compatible.
