That's so sweet~ I was going to wait till they announced what was going to be coming this summer, but then took the leap of faith and actually just got the iphone a couple of days before they announced 3.0 was coming out! Maybe I'll wait till the update comes first before jailbreaking just incase there's any complications!

There's another update right after the 2.0 update. Came out the same night so they probably fixed the problem you have

Fido is going to stop carrying the iPhone 3G. I was thinking about going with Fido since I like their plan better. Should I still get it through Fido now or go with Rogers? I dont know how their support will be for discontinued phones.

Just wondering is there any sort of option for the iPhone itself or a jailbroken one, that you can have one volume setting for the phone itself and then a different one for the iPod? I hate having to switch the volume everytime I wanna listen to music and then have the music blast my ears.

My friend just got a Roger's iPhone, but he uses Fido. Where can he buy a chip locally to unlock it to use 2.2.1? Unless.. there's no such thing for that firmware?

^ there are alot of ppl selling sim unlocks on craigslist, works with 2.2.1. the one i got is the i-smartphone one, havent experienced signal problems or anything yet.
