Geohot's jailbreaks and unlocks were never intended for Sale. Don't ever pay somebody to jb / unlock your phone.

so question, is the iphone 3gs sold in the apple store in the states? i read on a page that it is. but i cant find that page now so I don't know how old it is.

Also what if i get a iphone with a different baseband?

I'm pretty sure the apple store only sells locked iPhones based on your provider, whether it be fido or Rogers. I got my phone from apple and it was originally locked to Rogers.

as far as cell phones go i dont really see prices dropping due to holidays, at least thats what ive noticed. TV's, and everything else, ive never seen phones drop tho. maybe its just me.

I need some help guys...

My youtube doesn't work.

When I enter the you tube App it pops up 2 icons that says:

-Cound not activate cellular data net work, you are not subscribed to a cellular data network
-Cannot connect to Youtube

Anybody know the fix for this?

FIY, I'm not on a data plan, just using Wifi.

there is an issue with blacksn0w and wifi. its supposedly fixed. look for an update in cydia

reading Manga on the iPhone?

so i have a lot of hi quality scans of various Manga and i want to read them on my IPhone, BUT

when you transfer photos/pics to the iPhone they are automaticly compressed and resized.

is there a way to adjust how much resizing is done as i can barely read whats going on.

iManga reader is a web based reader that shows the series online so zooming and shrinking is done however you please.

any ideas?

after a day of getting my new 3GS, i've been happy with most of the phone's functions... save for Telus' spotty/weak coverage within my own apartment. i'm down to the very last miniscule bar as i move away from the window. low/no service in the elevator. and no service in the underground parkade.

my old razr with telus had excellent reception everywhere, even deep underground in the parkade.

any particular reason why this new network isn't as strong? besides it being new?

Your old Razr with Telus was using their CDMA network. Your iPhone is using their HSPA network. These networks are separate, and therefore having good reception on one does not indicate you will receive good reception on the other.

is 3G turned off maybe? anyways i stick with Rogers for the 850 band. i get signals in underground parking lots and inside the freezers at work lol

EDIT: i went to google and it showed me how to but when i go to click view in internet explorer the songs doesnt have mp4 it its name or nothing all it says is the number of the song thats all??
