I don't think you can really build up a trade because a trade is a trade and it happens when it happens... unless Gillis went to the other GM and said, yo I want to build this up in my hometown so let's seal it tomorrow...

So chances are, the announcement is going to involve a free agent signing of some sort then, because as mentioned above, if it's a trade, there wouldn't be any sense in building it up or whatever

Alright so they swapped Naslund for Demitra. If they get a decent center...*caugh* Sundin then think it would fair to say on paper they made the team better then last year.
