any care tips for a first timer?
looking for info such as types of soap/bodywash? types of deodorant? recommended lotion?
i just want to be prepared before my first session first week of august.

Unscented soap. I just get regular unscented dove. Scrub it pretty good after I take off the bandage the next day, even if it hurts a bit, then just twice a day for a few days after that. Never bothered with lotion, but I've been told I'm pretty lucky as I have skin that makes a tattoo artists life easy. Fair-skinned and heals quickly. Your artist will give you good advice (Justin if I'm not mistaken) dependant on that as well.

Ok so not only am i getting my knuckles and toes done , but because im losing my hair i also decided to get my head tattooed!... Nothing could be worse than my plalms and the back of my knees.... I hope!?!?

Anyone have any recommendations for a moisturizer?
Tattoo is about 4 months old now and I've noticed it looks quite a bit "fresher" when I keep it moisturizer. Problem is my back seems like it easily gets pimples when I have to shave my back/the area so I need somthing very simple and easy on skin? Any suggestions?

I use my wife's Kiehl's moisturizer. Very easy on the skin, not oily at all, no smells. Has worked great for every session I've been through over the years. I'd have to look at the bottle to see if there is a specific name/title but it's kind of a yellowish color.

A trick a learned: (this is for a "healed" tattoo) is to use Baby oil , it really makes the tattoo "pop"... I do this when i go party , just a small bit goes a long way !

Finally getting worked on for the first time in a year by my buddy Bradley gobiel in edmonton.
Not my stuff, but just to show how fucking rad he is.   
I have both my half sleeves done by him, but one isn't finished, its going to be funny having them side by side as obviously he has grown like crazy as an artist. My first tattoo was done by him 5 years ago when he was 25.
