We just had no future and prolonging it would have been worse. The freedom is really refreshing. But I have to admit I still think what if but I can't tell you that.

The past nearly three years have been amazing, and it tears me up inside that what I had is no longer there. I wish it was, I truly do. I have tried and tried over the past months to keep it going, but everything has just drained me to the point where it doesn't feel like I can get it back.
You think it doesn't bother me, but it does. I have been tearing my body and mind apart with sleeping pills nightly, alcohol and most recently tobacco, just so I could escape the stress, drama and bad thoughts in hoping that it would all go away eventually, but it didn't and it is just too much to take.
In the beginning I promised I would shoulder your burdens, pain and troubles, so you could focus on school and getting your life back together so we could live happily ever after. I am sorry, I lied. I just could not handle it all in the end, I have failed you and our future.
