so she basically told me,
-its not like she doesnt want to go with me
-her friends dont have dates so she doesnt want to leave them, afterall its one of the most important events of the year
-told me not to be sad or anything about it
-said she will dance with me etc
i guess shes giving me a legitimate reason? or does this seem like bs lol
does she even realize that prom isnt that crazy? you just go in a limo to some place, take pics, chill at the reception, sit there the rest of the time and get rdy for afterprom.
fuck i wont even be sitting at the same table as her or be rolling in the same limo.
anyways, things are pretty awkward. rumors spread pretty damn fast. im friends with pretty much everyone in my grade.. i hate logging in on msn and getting shit in my facebook inbox like "so what happened? i can help etc" but then everyone just ends up talking about it.
when rumors are spread the story gets changed a bit..
for example:
person #1 says: "He asked her to prom and she said she will think about it"
person #10 hears: "he asked her to be his gf and she said no and told him to leave her alone"
wooooow seriously? lol
what should i do now.
best thing to do is probably be friends with her and act like nothing happened? dont spoil her like i usually do or make any moves or signs?

What's done is done and she can't change it. If she wants to dance with you then dance with her if not then go on with prom. Try to make the best of it as it happens once in a life and soon after you'll stop hanging out/talking to half the people you once knew in HS. Your life is just about to begin.
As for rumors, fuck the rumors who gives a fuck what everyone else thinks. Act casual around her as if she was just another chick. Smokings bad you should quit. Trust me it's not worth it to smoke a lot over girls (I know from experience)
GO enjoy prom have fun get drunk after. Remember prom is a once in a lifetime thing.

i wish i listened to dad to visit you more often. i feel shit for visiting you everyday this week while you were drugged up and couldn't stay awake for more than 5 minutes. you were a great woman, one that looked out for her grand kids. i may not have been there as much as you may have wanted because i was young and stupid and never thought that such a day would come. i love you grandma. rest in peace.

feel like shit judging myself making up all these stupid excuses to miss all the family dinners, not going home and visit more, not listening and spending more time with mom, not paying more attention to her health issues ...

just thinking about this bring tears to my eyes now while at work...
and for all RS members, I urge you to make good use of this long weekend and spend some time with your families and love ones ...
