just saw it at langely in the imax (11:55pm)... their A/C wasn't working... place was so hot and it was pretty packed (got free tickets tho for next time)
i liked it (bcuz i like anything transformers) but its wasnt as good as the first

i had hoped in part 2 they would make the scenes with the transformers more CLEAR instead everything just looked like a slab of cg and you could barely make anything out

this will probably have to be spoilered

the controversial twins.... i didnt think it would be that bad and thought people were just being too PC... but WOW that was totally going waaaaay too far....

then the fact they made Optimus this leader without compassion really... you know how he just killed things and made cracks about it...(BUT thats not a real problem i realize this is ultimately a movie that has to appeal to more ppl)

what happened to

the movie was too long.. things got dragged out a little too far, i was actually looking forward to the long running time but got disappointed

finally i want to go to whichever college he was attending.... what was it some modelling school



i still enjoyed myself though and appreciate that there is a sequel...

If you want to see the bots clearly, you will have to get the Blu Ray coming around X'mas

T1 was a blur to me on the big screen, but the BD really redeemed it.

Not sure what people have to complain about. Its a straight forward action movie with nothing but shit blowing up, robots killin each other, and fine ass bitches.

Watched it in IMAX last night and did not regret a single penny spent.

Good fuckin movie.

According to Wikipedia the campus scenes were shot at University of Pennsylvania and Princeton, but neither school gave permission to use their name in the film because of one of Sam's mom scenes "did not represent the school".

The take away, from this movie, children is that there is no Jesus.

Watched it last night and Silver City was jam packed to no surprise. Got there at 10 and luckily they didn't post the 11pm show on their read boards so the 50 people lining up in front of me all bought for the 11:30 lol. When I got up and asked about the 11 they said it's on and then he said to the other cashiers "we should start telling people about the 11!".

Movie itself I actually thought it was decent in terms of entertainment value and overall thought it was better then expected. Although that might have been due to my low expectations from hearing non stop bad reviews.

Its crazy how much emotion the Transformers show.. like they actually seem like people..

So 4 friends and I got fucked at Coquitlam Silvercity for the 8:05 showing. With 25 minutes left, the projector bulb blew.

I managed to get us 10 passes, food for 5 and watched the 10:05 show free. Pain in the ass but at least I got something out of it.

Actually, the managers rounded everyone back into the theatre, told us what happened and offered a pass to replace the ticket - no apology which kinda pissed me off (we were already waiting in the dark for 20 minutes by that point). Most people grumbled and grabbed a pass as they left.

After the theatre was cleared and they (managers) were walking back, I basically told them that for us to go back another time, pay for food and sit through 1.5 hours of a movie we'd just seen, just to watch 25 more minutes, was worth a lot more than a refund. Ultimately, she gave us 5 more passes + concessions.

After grabbing food, I casually told the ticket guy we were just in the theatre that got screwed and that we were just going to watch it again. Sure, no problem.

I would've much rather not had to go through the hassle but at least I made them make it right.
