I think most people don't enjoy their field of study including myself is that we all realized the chance of getting a good job once we graduate is slim to none. You need to either go further to do grad school or do co-op for experience in the field. Or having amazing network which would help you land a good job, but both experience and further knowledge in the field will make you more qualified than anybody.
I know it is your career, so you should plan out, design your career path, so you don't end up with nothing related to your field.
2 people that I can think out of my head right now didn't know what they were doing: One graduated from econ, the other one I forgot her major. Anyway the econ major ended up being a waiter in a japanese restaurant, the girl ended up being a cashier in a grocery store.
It sucks, 4 years stuck in a prison, the amount of money spent on tuition and books. In the end, education is just for educating people.
Hopefully I don't end up like this. It's like a nightmare.  |

My younger brother is 18 and he tells me that a lot of his coworkers at macdonalds grad from sfu & ubc with degrees from business to history. He told me that one girl grad from ubc sauder and couldnt find a job due to her lack of experience.
