i went up to cypress from 12ish to like 2ish... saw quite a few small ones and a few big bright ones where people went wow or look!...

Was at Cypress earlier today (1AM-3AM)

Saw some really big ones but shit... It's so hard to capture on camera. Was using F2.8 (Focus Infinity), 400-800 ISO, 30" Shutter Speed. Lots of my pics failed because some cars were fucking around and flashing their lights on our area.

flameboy54 08-12-2008 10:31 AM

Was out between 10:30 to about 12:00, saw about a dozen in all, 4-5 big ones.

TOPEC 08-12-2008 11:47 AM

dam it i'm most likely going again tonight and i will capture a meteor with my camera...

So where's a nearby place we can go to watch these showers other than the mountain?
Potential RS meet? Lol

Inaii 08-12-2009 09:35 AM

Belcarra would probably be a good spot. Just pull over to the side of the road or into the area before the gate.

Tegra_Devil 08-12-2009 09:54 AM

i want hi-res pics for my background :)

Fafine 08-12-2009 09:59 AM

DHPEM1 08-12-2009 10:22 AM

Facing which direction to see them will be the best I wonder?

MG1 08-12-2009 10:56 AM

Sad, but I don't care to see these things anymore. Seen enough over the years that it doesn't excite me anymore. Fireworks, volcanos, lightning, geysers, eclipses, aurora, etc............. I still love looking at women, so there's still hope.

secstasy 08-12-2009 12:52 PM

is there even going to be any left tonight ...
